Introducing MATTS(TM), the Martial Arts Total Training System! This app is used with the MATTS device, a removable, electronic jacket that fastens around a Wavemaster or punching bag. MATTS is innovative– a lightweight, versatile, and user-friendly product. The student strikes the sensors on the silhouette, and the app gives real-time feedback via Bluetooth right on your smartphone!
MATTS has captured the skills and techniques of real-life martial arts masters, recording true to life martial arts movements in 4 modes.
· Sparring Drill mode: measures the time that it takes you to complete five cycles of a pre-sequenced drill, of which there are 4 to choose from.
· Reaction Time mode: measures the time that it takes you to strike certain sensors in a random sequence, until you end the sequence. This can be set with pauses between the sensors lighting up or without pauses.
· Accuracy Drill mode: measures the number of strikes that you land in any sequence that you choose, until you end the sequence. This can be set to lighted or dark sensors to indicate strikes real time.
· Hits in 30 seconds mode: counts the number of strikes you make to a particular sensor (head, gut, right rib, left rib) in 30 seconds
MATTS is also excellent for studio owners: it can be used to develop games among students or informal skills competitions.
